How did the idea for your business come about?
Cheryl Kerr: I am a chef and love providing quality service to my clients and there was a definite void to be filled the vegetarian market.
What is the significant difference your business brings to the market?
Cheryl Kerr: We specialize in Vegetarian/Vegan cuisine.
How did you decide on the location for your business?
Cheryl Kerr: There was available space alongside a health food store. In addition, our catering division goes where you are.
How important have good employees been to your success?
Cheryl Kerr: Extremely important as we are customer service oriented.
Describe/outline your typical day?
Cheryl Kerr: Creating and cooking delicious healthy recipes. Greeting and meeting our regular and new customers at the cafe. Seeing their delight as they taste new vegetarian menu items or are happy getting their “usual” satisfying breakfast or lunch.
What has been your most satisfying moment in business?
Cheryl Kerr: My satisfaction comes nightly, going home exhausted but ecstatic at the opportunity to feed and satisfy hungry clients who also want to be healthy.
