Bermuda Events Not To Miss For July

It is hot and the summer is here! That means there are plenty events going on during Bermuda’s busiest time. With Bermuda Carnival done and dusted, there is lots to do in the lead up to Cup Match. Here are five events you should consider checking out in July.

 Culture Shock – July 6

Culture Shock returns again this year with a promising line-up of reggae artists. Busy Signal is this year’s headliner backed by the Fireworks Band. The signature event also features Christopher Martin and Jahmiel, both backed by the Jam Donz Band. Host MC Richie B out of Jamaica will keep the concert rolling and Bermudian artists General Kaution, BLAC, Rowdy Piper and Lijah, all backed by DIA Band will perform. The event will kick off with juggling from 7 to 9pm by Three The Hardway, DJ Donnie, DJ Gibbo, Black Knights, DJ Chubb, DJ Jim Brown. Tickets are $85 and available on

Day Ja-Vu – July 7

Day Ja Vu is the ideal summer day party! Taking place at Fort St. Catherine from 2pm to 9pm, there will be VIP cabanas, signature drinks and hookah. Organisers say there is no other summer party quite like Day Ja-Vu. DJs for this event are DJ Fresh Kidd, Jim Brown and Jugglin J. Tickets are $30 in advance on and $40 at the door.

Moet & Chandon presents Summer Pool Party – July 7

Also happening in July 7 is the Moet & Chandon pool party at Elbow Beach pool from 1pm to 6pm. Listen to the sounds of Milk n Money – Felix Tod and Korie Minors. Every guest will receive a glass of champagne on arrival and there will be special prices on Moet all afternoon. Food will also be available for purchase. Bermuda Fashion Festival – July 7 to 13

Bermuda’s premier fashion event is finally here, proudly sponsored by the City of Hamilton and produced by Savvy Entertainment. The week-long event, July 7 – 13, includes four international standard fashion shows and two social events featuring Bermuda and international designers, Bermuda’s retailers and salons and models. The fashion festival kicks off with the Maybelline Final Evolution on July 7 followed by The Sail, a Champagne & Dessert Cruise on July 8, The Bermuda All-Star Showcase on July 9, The L’Oreal International Designer Showcase on July 11 and The iHope Global Bermuda Designer Showcase on July 12. Return of The Titans – July 31

Kick off the Cup Match holiday with Return of the Titans at Snorkel Park. Presented by Veterans in Action, the event will feature heavyweights Mighty Crown from Japan and Tony “Mentally Ill” Matterhorn from Jamaica. Mighty Crown will feature all three members (Sami T, Masta Simon and Ninja) and the reigning JamRock cruise winner, Tony Matterhorn, will battle it out on the stage the night before the holiday.
