How did the idea for your business come about?

Allen Ferreira: My father, John Ferreira used to manage cleaning companies. He taught me all I know today about cleaning. I hope one day to build a successful cleaning company, like he did.

What is the significant difference your business brings to the market?

Allen Ferreira: I try my best with every job, small or big. We never cut corners, & always try to give the client the best possible service.

How did you decide on the location for your business?

Allen Ferreira: We started very small from home. Now we have a small office located in Hamilton.

How important have good employees been to your success?

Allen Ferreira: They are the most important part of the business.

Describe/outline your typical day?

Allen Ferreira: I usually check on jobs, to make sure clients are happy. I work alongside my employees to make sure they understand & try their hardest all the time.

What has been your most satisfying moment in business?

Allen Ferreira: Many times, usually when a client calls or emails me to let me know of a job well done.

What has been your most successful form of marketing?

Allen Ferreira: Word of mouth.

How do you build a successful customer base?

Allen Ferreira: Always attend to client, especially emergencies.

What kind of culture exists in your organization?

Allen Ferreira: Bermudians, Portuguese, Spanish, Asians. We all respect & accept each others cultural background.

Excluding yours- what company or business do you admire?

Allen Ferreira: KAM Cleaning, Mike Medeiros takes time out everyday to look where he can provide better service & materials for clients.

Where you see yourself and your business in 10 years? 20 years?

Allen Ferreira: I hope to be amongst one of the best cleaning services on the island. It is a dream I’m aiming for.
